The stresses and uncertainties of modern life leave many people feeling overwhelmed and isolated, not knowing who to turn to. When crises come such as relationship breakdown, ill health or bereavement we need someone outside of the situation to confide in and work things through with. I offer space for you to talk openly in complete confidence and unconditional acceptance.
No one approach to counselling suits every problem or every client. So I work from an integrated model of counselling that draws on a variety of approaches, particularly Person-Centred and Psychodynamic methods. I also draw on more than twenty years’ experience working in pastoral and leadership roles in churches and universities, helping people from a wide variety of backgrounds and beliefs work through difficult situations and decisions.
Family tensions, anxiety, work related stress, anger, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and issues of faith.
