Helen Clark

My background is in the area of psychology and mental health. My approach to counselling is integrative. I use a blend of several methods and theories to support clients through their difficulties. This includes person-centered, attachment, CBT, and compassion focused therapy. I aim to help clients develop an understanding of how their problem came about in order to settle on an appropriate way forward from which people will derive long lasting benefit.

I am qualified to work with children and adults of any age and with any problem. I have worked with clients from various age groups. I have considerable experience of working with young people. I provide a non-judgmental, confidential and empathic service for many of life’s problems. For example, depression, anxiety, OCD, abuse, anger management, bereavement, eating difficulties, low self-esteem, postnatal depression, stress, sexual problems, addiction, relationships, and self-harm.
