Counsellor Profile: Kate Denney
I am extremely passionate that everyone should know that their wellbeing matters. In a world that can easily become busy and overwhelming it is important to make sure to find balance in taking time to manage our emotions and listen to our bodies. My aim is to create a safe space for you to come and be your authentic self. I like to bring my creativity to counselling to help you to engage in an environment you feel comfortable in. I take an integrative approach to counselling using person-centred therapy along with cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) interventions.
I am able to work with anyone aged 16 and over. I aim to provide a non-judgmental empathetic environment open to any thing you would wish to bring and process in the time we spend together. I have experience of working with a wealth of difficulties including low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, shame, stress and body image.
