Counsellor in Training
Tracey Bladen
Hi, I'm Tracey!
I’m currently completing a Master's in Counselling at Waverley Abbey College through Middlesex University. I have been married for over 25 years and have two grown-up children. I’m happiest when gathered around the table with good food, friends, and family, especially if it ends in a board game! I also love long walks with meaningful conversations.
Personal Introduction
With over five years' experience as a senior church leader, I’ve supported individuals through a wide range of life situations. I have led marriage preparation courses and plan to build upon this experience in the future by also offering couples therapy, alongside individual therapy. I’m passionate about helping people reflect on their stories, recognise what has shaped them, and move forward with greater clarity, hope, and wellbeing.
Experience
As your counsellor, I offer a safe and supportive space where you’ll be heard, understood, and gently guided at your own pace. I tailor each session to suit your unique needs by drawing on different psychotherapeutic approaches. We’re all shaped by different experiences, and I believe counselling should reflect that; there’s no one-size-fits-all.
My Christian faith is at the core of who I am, and though I hold my faith dearly, I in no way expect my clients to do the same. As such, I counsel people of all faiths, as well as those with none, and never impose my own beliefs on my clients.
